Welcome to
Bromölla Camping & Hostel

Bromölla Camping & Hostel is situated in a beautiful position by the shore of Lake Ivösjön. This cosy campsite is right next to the lake between the centre (of the town) and unspoiled nature. You can get close to nature, and there are many activities to choose from. If you want to go cycling, there are many bike trails to explore. You can rent a bike from the reception. We also have canoes and row boats for hire. At the campsite there is a mini golf course and there are exercise trails of various distances starting from the shore below the campsite! Ivöstrand sports park is within walking distance. The well-maintained, long sandy beach offers wonderful bathing; the beach is child-friendly with playground and barbecue areas. For our four-legged friends there are dog baths.

Gudahagen Näsum

Outside Näsum is Gudahagen, an area that probably has 250 standing stones and a cairn. The origin and function of Gudahagen has not yet been established, but graves from both the Iron Age and Christian times have been found. In folk tradition, Gudahagen is designated as a place of sacrifice or a pagan temple.

The archipelago of Lake Ivösjön

Skåne's largest lake, Lake Ivösjön, has an archipelago-like environment with a large number of islands that can be reached by boat or canoe. Most of the islands are completely uninhabited. The water is of good quality with several easily accessible bathing areas.

Ivöstranden's sports park

In the sports park there is the opportunity for many different activities such as wakeboard, paddling, outdoor gym etc. The sports park is located at Ivöstrand; it has been closed to the public for a long time. It is Bromölla’s best location, according to many, and it has not been available until now.

The Humleslingan trail

On the Humleslingan trail you can embark upon a cultural-historical journey in the vicinity of beautiful Lake Ivösjön. Here you will find the country's only hop-drying facility alongside some 30 attractions. There are exhibitions at the Iföverken Industrial Museum, Humletorkan and Bäckaskog Castle. Whether you discover the Hops trail by car, motorcycle, bike or on foot, you will be enthralled by the scenic countryside.

The fish stock in Lake Ivösjön is varied and half of all fish species present in Sweden are represented. Skräbeån is a small beautiful river that runs through Bromölla municipality in the north-east of Skåne. It runs between the magnificent Lake Ivösjön in the north and the sea in the south. In the clear water there are fish such as large sea trout and whitefish, both offer outstanding sport fishing!
